People´s Deputies of Ukraine, members of NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation and experts attended the meeting. 

 

The participants discussed energy, nuclear, biological, information and cyber security. They also debated nuclear non-proliferation and fundamentals of NATO program "Science for Peace and Security."

 

Thus, the strategic goal of Ukraine in cyber security is introduction and development of the system of response to the cyber attacks on the national information infrastructure capable of competing with the real-time systems of foreign countries and international organizations.    

 

Among the medium-term goals of the international cooperation of Ukraine in the cyber security sector, the attendants singled out enhancement of Ukraine´s capacity of protecting critical communication and information infrastructures from cyber attacks; creation of pre-requisites for the international support of Ukraine in case of cyber attacks of national significance; determination of terms or receiving and rendering of assistance in the restoration of infrastructure after cyber attacks.
