Asked by UNIAN journalists, Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that the responsibility for the drafting and adoption of the "police" Tax Code should be assumed not by the separate personalities but by the whole government in the Head of M. Azarov.
"Police" Tax Code is a common responsibility of Mykola Azarov, his Government and coalition", he declared. According to the Deputy Chairman, there is an interesting discussion regarding the adoption of this bill. He reminded that during the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Tax Code Draft was unanimously upheld and directed to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. "Party of Regions, CPU and Lytvyn Bloc representative in the Verkhovna Rada voted actively for the indicated bill together with the new coalition members", M. Tomenko added. He emphasised that only after opposition and specialists pointed out obvious violations of the constitution of Ukraine and democracy principles in this bill, the dignitaries commenced investigation and searching the guilty one. He reminded that first of all the Administration of the President of Ukraine made an appeal that it does not uphold the Code, later the Party of Regions declared that they "do not understand this Code", though they have voted for it. M. Tomenko still is convinced that the whole Government with Prime Minster and coalition are guilty.
