Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine directed the deputies´ inquiry to Mykola Azarov, the Prime Minister of Ukraine regarding the merging of the state enterprises of the sport orientation in the framework of State Company Union of Sport and Economic Establishments.
In his appeal, M. Tomenko pointed out the attention to the fact that the Ministry on Family Matters, Youth Policy and Sport repeatedly made the attempts to stop the activity, through the reorganization, of the state companies Hotel Sport, Training-Sport Bases Atlet, CSC Tenisni Korty and skating rink Kryzhynka, Liodovyi Stadion, Olympic Training Sport Center as a separate economic entities. According to the Deputy Chairman, the purpose is to unite these objects in the framework of the single State Enterprise Union of Sport and Economic Establishments, as, according to them, it is necessary to improve the structures of economic entities of the state enterprises and improve the perpetration of the objects for the conduction of the final part of the European Football Championship in 2012.
The Deputy Chairman emphasised that the appropriateness of such reorganization is not proved by the finance-economic calculations.
