On Friday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met Valentyn Velychko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine, at his Request
The Parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning bilateral collaboration, stressing the necessity of further development of economic cooperation.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dwelled upon the exchange of decrees on ratification of the bilateral agreements on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
Mr Lytvyn and Mr Velychko discussed development of the inter-parliamentary constituent of bilateral relations, especially cooperation in the inter-parliamentary associations, such as parliamentary dimension of the Eastern Partnership.
