During the Session Week of 18-21 May, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted 8 Laws and 7 Resolutions

The following Laws were adopted in entirety:

1. "On Adoption of the Resolution of the President of Ukraine on Admittance of the Foreign Armed Forces to the Territory of Ukraine in 2010 for the Participation in Multinational Military Training";

 

2. "On Amendments to the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine" (re Harmonization of Jurisdiction with the Competence of the Law-Enforcement Bodies)

 

3. "On Amendments to the Labour Code of Ukraine" (re Labour Agreement Registration);

 

4. "On Enhanced Protection of Property of Mass Media Editorial Offices, Publishing Houses, Bookshops, Book Distributors and Creative Unions";

 

6. "On a State Programme of Ukraine's Socioeconomic Development for 2010";

 

7. "On Amendments to the Clause 5 of the Law "On Value-Added Tax";

 

8. "On Amendments to the Criminal-Procedural Code of Ukraine regarding the Extradition";

 

The Law ""On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the Prevention and Counteraction to Legalization (Laundering) of illegally obtained Income and Terrorism Financing" was adopted with the President´s motions.

 

The following Resolution was adopted:

 

" On Amendments to the Resolution of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "On Dismissal of Judges".

 

A number of bills were adopted:

 - regarding the early termination of the authorities of certain People´s Deputies;

 - on appointing and dismissal of judges.

 

63 Deputies inquiries were forwarded.

 

A number of bills were adopted as a basis, returned for the repeated scrutiny, rejected and withdrawn.
