The Law envisages strengthening of the criminal liability for the crimes against individual´s immunity and liberty. In particular, the minimal sanction part 4 clause 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine implementing criminal liability for the rape caused heavy consequences and minor´s rape is to be increased from 8 to 10 years, moreover such crime might be punished by the life sentence.
The legislative act introduces the amendments to the clause 155 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, aimed at the liability strengthening for the carnal connection with minors.
A relevant bill is registered under Reg. No5228-1.
