Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that the tax and budget codes of Ukraine can be adopted till the end of the current session provided these documents are submitted to the Parliament shortly.
Asked by Rada television channel on Friday, V.Lytvyn stated that the State Budget would be adopted on the grounds of the effective taxation and budgetary systems, unless the tax and budget codes are passed: "If these documents are submitted later, I doubt that they would be adopted, so the budget for 2011 would not be based on new tax and budgetary principles."
V.Lytvyn reminded that these acts shall be adopted till 15 July.
