During the Plenary Week on 1-4 June, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted 10 Laws and 8 Resolutions

The Law of Ukraine "On Purchase of Goods, Works and Services for the State Funds" was adopted with the motions of the President of Ukraine. The Law introduces a new procedure for purchase of goods, works and services for the state funds.

 

The following Laws were adopted in entirety:

 

1. "On Amendments to Item 1 Chapter II of Final Provisions of the Law "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the Protection of Land Capacity";

 

2 "On Amendments to the Law "On Amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine (re the Liability Strengthening for the Crimes against Minor's Sexual Liberty and Immunity)";

 

3. On Priority Areas of Science and Technology Development";

 

4. "On Protection of Personal Data";

 

 5. "On Amendments and Supplements to the Law of Ukraine" (re Regulation of Legal Status and Procedure of Diplomatic Ranks Conferment);

 

6. "On Amendments to several Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding State Supervision in the Communications Sector";

 

7. "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Cargo Transit" (re Customs Clearance);

 

8. "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Motor Ways" (re Licensing of the Roadside Service Facilities Placement);

 

9. "On Amendments and Supplements to Article 74 of the Law "On Court Enforcement Action" (re Procedure of Alimony Collection)";

 

10. "On Amendments to the Claus 13 of the Law of Ukraine "On Innovation Activit" (regarding the terms of the state registration).

 

The following Resolutions were passed:

 

1.     "On Fundamentals of Budget Policy for 2011";

 

2.     "On Recommendation of the Parliamentary Hearings: "Strategy of Innovational Development of Ukraine 2010-2010 under the Conditions of Global Challenges";

 

3.     "On Observance of the Legislation of Ukraine on Culture and Sports" (re Prevention of Destruction of Sevastopol City Stadium).

 

A number of resolutions were adopted:

 

-    "On Celebration of the 700th Anniversary of Foundation of Kovel in Volyn Region", "On Celebration of the 925th Anniversary of Foundation of Lutsk in Volyn Region", "On Celebration of the 750th Anniversary of Foundation of Buchach in Ternopil Region."

 

-     On dismissal of judges.

 

The Report regarding investigation of the death of student Ihor Indylo in Shevchenkivskii Regional Department of the Main Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was presented to the People´s Deputies.

 

72 deputy inquiries were read out.

 

A number of resolutions were adopted as a basis, forwarded for the repeated scrutiny and rejected.
