The forum is held in the form of plenary meetings and parliamentary conferences. Parliamentarians from 35 OSCE member-states and representatives of many associated countries and international organizations, as well as parliamentarians from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Qatar country take part in the forum.
The agenda of the forum includes pressing issues on regional security (including Afghanistan, terrorism and disarmament), economic concerns (trade, resource management, environmental issues), and the human dimension (religious tolerance, political development, freedom of the media, drug trafficking, trafficking in human beings and gender equality).
In the course of the discussion of the main theme of the parliamentary forum "The OSCE Eurasian Dimension", its participants pointed out the attention to the situation of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. In particular, they listened to the speech of Abdygany Yerkebaev, Representative of the Interim Government of People´s Trust of Kyrgyzstan regarding the situation in the country and alleviation of tension between the oppositions.
The members of the Ukraine in PA OSCE expressed their concern about the escalation of a conflict and emphasised the importance of the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Kyrgyzstan.
