The Parties discussed the perspectives of the interparliamentary cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and House of Representatives of Cyprus.
In particular, G. Varnava repeatedly invited the Ukrainian Party to visit the Cyprus Parliament as according to him an important factor of the political dialogue strengthening and bilateral cooperation is exactly the parliamentary dialogue. O. Bilorus upheld the guest´s propositions and added that the parliamentarians are the factor the greatly influences the economic cooperation, especially under the conditions of the global economic crisis.
G. Varnava also briefed on the state of the solution of Cyprus problem and their concessions made for the sake of peaceful soling of the problem.
O. Bilorus positively evaluated the steps of the Cyprus part it the solution of his conflict. Though he stated that "the conflict frozen for more than 37 years under the conditions of the present world may be solved only due to the mutual international efforts."
