The Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption scrutinized the Bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine in connection with the Adoption of the Law "On Basis of the Corruption Fighting and Counteraction"

In the course of the Committee sitting it was declared that the aim of elaboration of the Bill (Reg. No6201) is harmonization of certain number of legislative acts of Ukraine with the Law "On Basis of the Corruption Fighting and Counteraction" that was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 11 June 2009.

 

Relevant amendments are suggested to the introduced to the Laws "On Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine", "On State Service", "On Local Self-Government", "On Prosecutor´s Office", "On Service in Local Self-Government Bodies", "On State Taxation Service of Ukraine", "On State Frontier Service of Ukraine" etc.

 

The Law is to be supplemented by the clauses 191 and 192.

 

The Committee members pointed out the attention to the fact that clause 60 of Law "On Banks and Banking Activity" is to be supplemented by the new part. Pursuant to the Bill it is not supposed to be considered as banking secret the information on rates, types of charity and other activity that is allocated to the individual persons and legal entities or are received by other persons, declared in the items 1-2 of the clauses 2 of the Law "On Basis of the Corruption Fighting and Counteraction."

 

Ion the result of the discussion, according to the principles of the clause 93 of the Standing Orders of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Committee resolved to direct the document to the Cabinet of Ministers for the conclusion on expediency of its adoption.
