ON FRIDAY 16 APRIL, NEXT PLENARY WEEK OF THE SIXTH SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WAS FINISHED
Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the beginning of the morning sitting announced on the results of the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during the plenary meetings on 15 April.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed number of resolutions on termination of the powers of the People´s Deputies of Ukraine, appointed to the offices in the executive power bodies: Ryzhuk S. M, Titenko S. M, Dzharta V. H., Burlakov P. M., Papiev M. M., Matviichuk E.L., Tulub S. B., Chmyr Yu. P., Kruhlov M. P., Vilkul O. Yu., Portnov A. V., Petrov B. F.
Hour of questions to the Government was held in the Verkhovna Rada. Mykola Prysiazhniuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported on the course of the conduction of the pring agricultural works. He immediately assured that despite all the problems, there would be no breaks in the work, even despite long winter and lack of the State Budget.
M. Prysiazhniuk emphasised that the main task for the Ministry headed by him are to eliminate all these problems, improve the agricultural complex indexes and increase export capacity.
In the end of his speech, M. Prysiazhniuk stated that in order the sphere works efficiently, in the State Budget for the next year should be formed in such a way to attract new credits and foreign investments.
M. Prysiazhniuk answered the Deputies questions.
V. Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine read the Deputies appeals.
YTB and "Our Ukraine-People´s Self-Defence" demanded announcing of the break. Without the break, Viktor Teren, YTB Deputy was asked for the speech. The People´s Deputy pointed out the attention to the yesterday´s speech of D. Tabachnyk, a Minister on Science and Education of Ukraine, when he named Ukraine "Papuan country." YTB appealed to all the specialists of educational sphere with the request to give note of nonconfidence to D. Tabachnyk that has no right to occupy such a position "after his appeals."
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine terminated the authority of Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the Unauthorized Occupation of Land Plots, Illegitimate Construction of Residential, Business and Entertainment Centers in the City of Simferopol and Passivity of the Law-Enforcement Bodies.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a Basis by 258 votes the Resolution "On Report of the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the Facts of Violation of the Constitution of Ukraine and Ukrainian Laws by the Officials of Kyiv State Administrations of Kyiv Region by Allocation and Registration of Land Plots." The People´s Deputies considered the report of the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the Facts of Violation of the Constitution of Ukraine and Ukrainian Laws by the Officials of Kyiv State Administrations of Kyiv Region by Allocation and Registration of Land Plots.
The temporary Inquiry Panel is commissioned with the direction of the report to the {resident of Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, General Prosecutor´s Office of Ukraine, State Committee on land Resources for its scrutiny and relevant reaction.
In the end of the plenary meeting the People´s Deputies announced their appeals, motions and remarks.
19-23 April, the People´s Deputies will be working with the voters.
Next plenary meeting of the sixth session will be held on Tuesday, 17 April.
