The Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government recommends that the Parliament rejects the Bill on Amendments to the Clause 10 of the Law "On State Awards" (regarding Honorific Titles in the Sphere of Legal Professions and Notary Service Board)

The Bill (Reg. No5084) suggests implementation of the titles of honour of Ukraine "Honoured Legal Professions Official" and "Honoured Official of Notary Service Board" through the amendments and supplements introduction to the relevant clause 10 of the Law "On State Rewards of Ukraine"

 

In the course of the discussion the Committee upheld the conclusion of Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate regarding unsuitable character of the amendments implemented taking into the consideration the clause 10 of the Law "On State Awards of Ukraine" they are implemented due to the sectorial principle. It was emphasised that pursuant to the Law the title of honour "Honoured Jurist of Ukraine" is already implemented.
