The Bill (Reg. No.2393) envisages a five-year moratorium on destruction of green plantations in the public gardens, botanical gardens, parks, recreational forests, shore protection areas, water protection zones, etc.
To enhance national environmental policy, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to elaborate the Bill on green plantations of the cities and other settlements based on the grounds of environmental balance, in compliance with the Concept of Stable Development of the Settlements.
