In compliance with the United Nations Convention against Corruption, the bill (Reg. No.4472) fixes the order of declaring the income, property status and expenditures by the persons authorized to fulfill the functions of the State and local self-government bodies, and their relatives; using the declared data to prevent the conflicts of interest and corruptive infringements.

The People´s Deputies stressed that the bill intended not only to disclose the facts of illegal enrichment of civil servants, but also to reveal the financial conflicts of interest likely to originate or that originated among the civil servants during the fulfillment of their duties.

The data concerning expenditures and transactions are subject to declaration, provided their amount exceeds ten monthly rates of living wage for the employed persons as of 1 January of financial year.
