Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine addressed the Prime Minister of Ukraine with the appeal to react on the decision of the Ministry on Culture, according to which, the Ministry allowed common use of the Mykhailvska Church building in Pereiaslav town for religion community of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate and Museum of Ukrainian national clothes of Middle Naddniprianshchyna of the national history-ethnographic reserve "Pereiaslav" that actually means removal of the museum that have occupied the place form year 1959.
M. Tomenko emphasised that deems the decision illogical according to which, the museum that used to function in the building more than 50 years, during 24 hours is removed to the street even if we speak on the religions building where the museum is situated.
The Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine addressed the Prime Minister of Ukraine with the request to interfere with the situation and do not let the conflict on the eve of great Eater holiday. "The Government is supposed to protect Ukrainian inheritance first of all and not solve property interests problem of churches", the politician emphasised.
