Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during the discussion of the Program of the Activity of the Government that as presented today in the Parliament declared that it is written for the branches of economics but not for the people.
M. Tomenko emphasised that it is the first time that the whole system of power and government put in the forefront banking system, modernization of the economics, entrepreneurship etc. "Though the civilized countries pay special attention to the instruments of the improvement of people´s life", he emphasised.
"If one evaluates "State Program on Economic and Social Development of Ukraine for the Year 2010", it seems that it, at least, delays the implementation of the election program of Victor Yanukovych for the year 2010. From such theatric promises as increase entering list of 20 most economically developed countries in tem year term, increase of population to 50 millions until the year 2020 and ending in taxation vacations for 5 years, reduction of VAT etc, hence there is no strategy of their implementation in even far away future", the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated.
M. Tomenko declared that the Soviet terms on "domestic" economic, legislation etc became very popular in the program.
The Deputy Chairman emphasised that the Program actually lacks the systemic strategy of development of physical culture and sport and propaganda of healthy way of living. As an example, M. Tomenko noticed that there are only two items dedicated to the sport problems in Ukraine.
M. Tomenko is convinced when one speaks on the world-view issues, there is probably one positive moment in this Program "it is cancellation or at least monitoring of sexism ideology, that is a common mistake of our present state leaders. If the program is really implemented into life, neither the President, nor the Prime Ministers are not going to discuss soon that women have no right to work in the Government or occupy certain high offices in our state, as the equal opportunities for women and men are proclaimed."
