V. Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that the Ukrainian politicians "are supposed to be taught how to live in the state independently." "Our Sovereignty should be real, not declarative", the head of the Parliament declared during the briefing on Monday, giving comments regarding the possible unity of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus in a union state.

He emphasised that "the politicians are supposed to forget the pre-election period when the political opinion was not quite elaborate and real and abandon idle declarative statements.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems these statements "are possible on the level of the political statements exclusively and not this reality the executive power is going to represent." "It coincides with my personal opinion we are able and supposed to live like a single state and its energy is to be directed into our sources, we must not search any grounds and possibilities to become a part of something", V. Lytvyn is convinced.
