Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated that he would insist that a usual standard of covering the proceedings of the Conciliative Council be restored. Then the journalists have at least the opportunity to attend the reports of the faction representatives, following the proceedings of the Conciliative Council live.
M.Tomenko is convinced that the alteration of the mass media interaction mode is not the organization of activity, but "an actual violation of the freedom of speech and information." He expects the upcoming Conciliative Council to be covered in a transparent and comfortable mode.
