During the Fourth and the Fifth Sessions of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Sixth Convocation (2009), the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations held One Parliamentary and Thirteen Committee Hearings

In the result of the parliamentary hearings "On the Current State and Prospects of Development of the Agricultural Sector and Food Industry in Ukraine" held on 11 March 2009, The Verkhovna Rada passed a relevant Resolution (Reg. No.4242). The Committee members believe that The Verkhovna Rada should facilitate scrutiny and adoption of the Bills aimed at the development of the agricultural sector and minimization of influence of the financial crisis on this branch.  

 

The Committee members took part in the following Committee hearings: "On the State of Implementation of the Agrarian Policy and Land Relations Committee Resolution of 17 June 2008 "On the Current State and Legislative Support of Fishing Industry Development in Ukraine", "On the State of Implementation of the Agrarian Policy and Land Relations Committee Resolution of 15 May 2008 "On Legislative Support of Distillery Branch and its Reform", "Investment Policy in the Agricultural Sector:  the Importance of Partnership between the Authorities, Business and Agricultural Community",  "The System of Scientific Support of the Agricultural Sector of Ukraine under the Current Economic Conditions", "On the Settlement of Situation between the Producers and Processors of the Oil-Bearing Seeds at the Domestic Market of Ukraine for 2009-2010 Marketing Year",  "On the Quality and Safety of Foodstuffs: Provision of the Demand of the Domestic Market of Ukraine in Organic Baby Food", "On Effective Use of Grain Crops of Harvest-2009 at the Domestic and Foreign Markets", "On the Current State and Prospects of Development of Sugar Industry".
