The Committee on European Integration recognized the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Cinematography" and Law "On Television and Radio Broadcasting" as such that complies with the Obligations of Ukraine in the Framework of the Council of Europe

The Bill (Reg. No. 2692) eliminates discrepancies among the effective Laws of Ukraine as to the means of distribution of foreign films/programs by the television broadcasting companies, improvement of legal provisions in the field of broadcasting of foreign films/programs by the television broadcasting companies at the territory of Ukraine.  

 

The Committee members stated that the Bill complies with the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages.
