The Bill (Reg. No. 3676), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, enhances effective legislation of Ukraine as to the housing rights of orphans and children deprived of parental care. Thus, it specifies the procedure of housing and social housing registration, acquisition of housing by orphans and children deprived of parental care on attainment of 16 years of age.
The Committee members upheld the legislative proposal. The People´s Deputies believe that adoption of the Bill will enhance protection of housing rights of orphans and children deprived of parental care, creating conditions for the realization of their housing right.
