Additional Information concerning Organization of Work of Mass Media during the Grand Meeting of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dedicated to the Oath-Taking of a Newly Elected President of Ukraine

 

DEAR COLLEAGUES!

 

Due to the restricted possibilities of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine building and great number of the accredited mass media representatives, only one photographic team from each television channel and one journalists and photojournalist from the print media  shall be admitted to the inauguration ceremony to the Parliament on 25 February 2010.

 

Please take into account that television and photo coverage of the ceremony is not performed from the press box balcony of the session hall.

 

Television and photo coverage of arrival of the newly-elected president of Ukraine and distinguished guests to the parliament shall be performed at the special area near the first entrance to the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. After the arrival, all accredited mass media representatives shall immediately go upstairs to the lobbies of the second floor, staying there until the president of Ukraine leaves the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.  

 

Then, being adjourned by the press service representatives, mass media representatives shall go downstairs to the lobbies of the first floor to collect comments as demanded by the editorial tasks.

 

Representatives of the national and foreign mass media, permanently accredited in Ukraine, shall reach the first entrance of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine building through the Mariinslyi Park.

 

Representatives of the foreign mass media accompanying delegations go to the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (IV entrance) and are followed upstairs by the Representative of the Press Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat through the hall no. 5 to observe the inauguration ceremony on monitors.
