Oleksandr Lavrynovych: The Leaders of Law-Enforcement Bodies who violates the Laws shall be dismissed
"The body in charge of law enforcement and prevention of infringements shall not violate the laws itself on commission of its leader. The leader shall also protect the law and the citizens, being not an infringer", - Oleksandr Lavrynovych, First Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated in the program in Channel 5, commenting upon his initiative to dismiss Yuriy Lutsenko from the office of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
"Submitting the Draft Resolution, I attached the relevant documents, i.e. three court resolutions that recognize the activity of Yuriy Lutsenko as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as illegitimate", - O. Lavrynovych stated.
According to the politician, "the courts recognize activity of the subordinate police officers who fulfilled his orders as illegitimate".
The First Deputy Chairman stated that "the prosecution of Shevchenkivsky district of Kyiv passed the resolution to institute criminal proceedings over the activity of two subdivisions of the internal affairs body that fulfilled the orders of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine".
The First Deputy Chairman is worried about the fact that the Minister of Internal Affairs had frequently referred to the term "falsifications" in the context of the presidential campaign.
O.Lavrynovych commented upon the situation with Ukraina Printing and Publishing with the involvement of the members of the law-enforcement bodies. He stated: "Exploitation of the subordinate to seize the enterprise printing voting ballots and other election documents ten days before the run-off voting testifies of the clear intention". He supposes that "the fact that this issue failed to be scrutinized at the sitting of the National Defense and Security Council testifies that the person prone to violations does not occupy the right post".
O.Lavrynovych expects that the Parliament upholds the initiative of the Party of Regions Faction, voting for the dismissal of Yuriy Lutsenko from the office of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. "The majority of the constitutional composition of the Parliament adopts the most resolutions at the Parliament. However, we count on the support of other Factions", - O.Lavrynovych summarized.
The First Deputy Chairman answered the question whether this voting could demonstrate the composition of a new coalition. He stated that a single voting could not prove it. However, O.Lavrynovych admitted that "the composition of a new coalition will be evident shortly".
