Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism upholds the Bill on the State Regulation of Lottery Activity in Ukraine

The Document (Reg. No5417-1) suggests scrutiny of the lottery activity as a monopoly of the state on implementation and conduction of the lotteries. The Bill suggests that 25 % of the income part that remain of the prize money is directed for the financing of the social sphere of the state.

 

Pursuant to the Committee members, the biggest income receive states with model of the state monopoly on lottery activity and restricted quantity of operators.

 

The Parliamentarians expressed thought that in the course of the elaboration of the Bill for the second reading it is necessary to take into the account certain principles of the Bills Reg. NoNo 5417, 5417-2.
