The Committee on European Integration recognized the Bill on Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine regarding the Renewable Energy Sources as such that complies with the European Union Law

In the course of the sitting it was declared that the adoption of the Bill (Reg. No.5103) is aimed at the harmonization of the Ukrainian legislation with EU legislation and harmonization of the licensing system in the sphere of the renewable energy sources with the Law "On Licensing System in the Sphere of Economic Activity."

 

A relevant amendments are to be introduced to the Laws "On Environmental protection", "On Single Custom Charge", "On Energy Preserving", "On Value Added Tax", "On Enterprise Income Taxation", "On Heat Supply", "On Alternative Energy Sources", "On Priorities of Innovational Activity."

 

The People´s Deputies emphasized that indicated amendment are mostly of editorial character and specifies certain terms in the sphere of alternative energy sources use. Moreover, the suggested amendments are aimed at the simplification of the licensing system in this sphere.
