The Law enhances legislation in the field of topographical-geodesic and cartographic activity, satisfies governmental and other needs in geodesic and cartographic production, use of modern geodesic systems of observation geospatial data and geoinformation systems.
Thus, the Law extends the authorities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and other central executive bodies in the said field.
