The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine invalidated the Resolution of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "On Regular Elections of the Deputies of Local Councils and Village, Settlement and City Mayors in 2010" of 20 October 2009 No.1648-VI.
The Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government is commissioned to submit relevant motions due to the Resolution of the Constitutional Court No.13рп-2009 of 4 June 2009 on the case related to the institution of constitutional proceedings by Kyiv City Council for the official interpretation of Part 1 and 1 of Clause 141 of the Constitution of Ukraine. The Committee shall also bring forward the Bill on the alteration of the system of local elections.
A relevant Draft Resolution was registered under Reg. No. 6070.
