Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine met on Thursday Boris Gryzlov, the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation

 

In the course of the meeting the Parties discussed the broad circle of issues of bilateral relations in the economic and cultural spheres.

 

V. Lytvyn and B. Gryzlov emphasized the importance of the systematic approach to the scrutiny of the issues of the common interest and meet the expectation of the both countries citizens.  

 

According to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, there should be "a practical discussion" that facilitates the real results of the cooperation. V. Lytvyn is convinced that Ukrainian and Russian bilateral relations "are supposed to face new big projects."

 

The Parties also declared that the interparliamentary constituent of the Ukrainian-Russian relations was being actively developed in the course of the last years. Both politicians have highly evaluated the work of Ukrainian-Russian Interparliamentary Committee.
