Mykola Tomenko: It is logical that the Elections in all the Administrative-Territorial Units should be held on 30 May

In the course of the briefing in the Parliament after the conciliate council on Monday, M. Tomenko stated: "The specialists and the Parliament are ready to adopt the decision concerning the elections to the local self-government bodies in all the administrative-territorial units of Ukraine in one day."

According to M. Tomenko according to the fact that the judgment of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine concerning Kyiv city and other pre-termed elections is supposed to be spread on those territorial communities where the decision on pre-termed elections were adopted after the Constitutional Court judgment and according to the civilized European practice of local self-government practice organization, it is obvious that all the elections to the local self government bodies should be held on 30 May 2010.

According to the Deputy Chairman, the separate scrutiny of the issue on the election conduction would concern only Kyiv city. Though, M. Tomenko is convinced that this question would also be solved: "I suppose that the Verkhovna Rada after the Temporary Inquiry Panel report will finally solve the issue on the elections in Kyiv city conduction on 30 May 2010", - M. Tomenko emphasized.
