The Law introduces amendments to the Law "On Licensing Activity in the Field of Nuclear Energy Use" that specify the procedure of licensing activity in the field of nuclear energy use concerning issue and content of relevant licenses, termination of their validity, and types of activities subject to licensing in the said field. The Bill also envisages responsibility for violation of the said Law.
Pursuant to the Law, the license on conducting activity in the field of energy use should include the requirement concerning compulsory provision of physical protection of nuclear facilities, nuclear materials, nuclear waste and sources of ionizing radiation by the subjects of activity.
The Law extends licensing onto the personnel in charge of research reactor control. Pursuant to it, transportation of nuclear materials requires relevant licenses
