Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, is convinced that the Present-Day Composition of the Parliament will work for the Whole Period of its Authorities no matter who is elected the President of Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "is doomed to work", V.Lytvyn stated in the Monday´s interview to "Ekho Moskvy" radio station. "I declare that no early elections will be held as long as I head the Parliament", - the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated.
The Head of the Parliament deems necessary to take "another approach: adopt the law on open-ballots or majority election, drastically reorganizing The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine afterwards".
However, V.Lytvyn believes that this proposal "is unacceptable for the politicians", as "their political forces may be elected, while they personally may lose, having no public support".
"We shall reach a compromise to maintain the public life in the country", - he summed up.
