The Committee on European Integration recommends that the Parliament ratifies the International Labour Organization Convention No161 of the Year 1985 on Occupational Health Services

Pursuant to the Convention, occupational health services are supposed to implement and evaluate the occupational health risks; supervise industrial environment factors that influence the personnel health, sanitary equipment etc; consult on the matters of the labour activity organization etc.

 

Moreover, the services are supposed to take part in the elaboration of the programs for the industrial practice improvement, facilitate the adjusting of the labour activity to personnel and measure of the professional rehabilitation, analyze professional accidents and illnesses etc.

 

In the course of the sitting it was declared that the Convention ratification facilitates the national legislation adjusting to the EU legislation in this field.

 

The Committee members emphasized that the Bill adoption facilitates the labour potential of Ukraine, reduce of the professional illnesses, disability etc.
