The Law extends the categories due to which a film can be considered as a national one, and defines the principles of financial, economic and customs regulation of activity of the subjects of cinematography.
The Law alters the definition of the term "a national film", extending its criteria, and supplements the effective Law with additional articles concerning exemption of the subjects of cinematography from the rental charge for land, taxation of income of enterprises and the VAT.
Pursuant to the Law, the state should follow the protectionism policy concerning national film industry in order to attract extra funds for production and distribution of national films.
