Committee on National Security and Defence approved the Working Plan for the Period of the Sixth Session

Anatolii Hrytsenko, the Chairman of the Committee stated that it is necessary to repeatedly scrutinize and coordinate the register of the suggested for the scrutiny bills, envisaging the introduction of the suggested amendments to the Bill on the State Budget of Ukraine for the year 2010 concerning the financing of the national security and defense sphere.

The People´s Deputies in the course of the discussion stated that it would be reasonable before the amendments introduction to listen to the information of the Ministry on Defense, law-enforcement bodies information on the real state in this state sector, analyzing the Military Doctrine of the State, Strategy of the National Safety and other document in this sphere.

The Committee member expressed their remarks concerning the working plan.

 The Committee in the course of the sixth session plans strengthening of the parliamentary supervision for the adopted decision implementation and legislative execution in the security and defense sphere.
