Oleksandr Lavrynovych: Viktor Yanukovych is becoming the Fourth President of Ukraine
"We are pleased with the victory of Viktor Yanukovych and the fact he becomes the fourth President of Ukraine", - the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared in the course of the telethon on the 5th Channel. Giving comments concerning exit polls results the politician stated: "I suppose that the gap will comprise more then 3% in favor of Viktor Yanukovych."
O. Lavrynovych briefed: "There were false attempts to mine the site polling commissions in order to stop their working for several hours; on the 5th poling site commission in Crimea region the mercury thermometer was broken in order to reduce the quantity of voters."
The First Deputy Chairman proved the words of the journalists concerning the fact that on polling site commissions in Eastern regions of Ukraine voters attendance was purposely reduced as in the results of the first round of voting V. Yanukovych won in that region.
Despite all these obstacles, O. Lavrynovych is convinced that V. Yanukovych received confident victory. "It is victory. If we like to be called a democratic country in such a case one must admit defeat, cease from resistance and occupy an effective oppositional activity", - the First Deputy Chairman declared.
The politician expressed regret that "There is a politician power in Ukraine that likes to call themselves democratic force though is far from the democratic principles and is not able to admit obvious facts. The fact that her general staff gave an order to appeal against the results in the Eastern Ukraine and demand re-calculation on every polling sites commission when even the first calculation is not completed proves the fact they try to delay the day of the final results establishment."
"The voting showed the real post-orange state o the country. It proves there is a powerful opposition in Ukraine and there is no social unity in the support of one political power", - O. Lavrynovych summarized.
