Mykola Tomenko: At its coming Sitting, the Government shall discuss the Situation in Kyiv

"At its coming sitting, the Government shall discuss the situation in Kyiv", - Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated.  

 

As it was reported, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the Resolution "On Report of the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the Facts of Violation of the Constitution of Ukraine and Ukrainian Laws, Adoption of Illegitimate Resolutions by the Officials of Kyiv City Council and its Executive Body" on 11 February 2010.

Pursuant to the Resolution, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine shall discuss the situation in Kyiv at its coming sitting. By 20 February 2010, the Cabinet of Ministers shall inform the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine about the results of the auditing of Kyiv City Administration as to observance of budgetary and taxation legislation of Ukraine.

 

M.Tomenko shall control implementation of the Resolution. He forwarded an appeal to Yu.Tymoshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine, with a request to facilitate scrutiny of this issue at the sitting of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

 

M.Tomenko also addressed O.Medvedko, Prosecutor General of Ukraine, with a request to take necessary measures to respond to the materials of auditing presented by the Temporary Inquiry Panel.
