The Law defines the concept "low-alcoholic beverages", prohibits their consumption in public transport, at the territories of children playgrounds, at the educational and public health establishments, and other institutions. The Law also restricts the places of their sale.
The Law adds a new provision to the current Law to the effect that "low alcohol beverages are alcoholic beverages with 1.25% to 8.5% (by volume) ethyl alcohol content and extractive substances below or equal to 14.0 g/100 cm3 , manufactured from water/alcohol based compositions, using ingredients, semiproducts and preserving agents, saturated or unsaturated with carbon dioxide".
A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 1171.
