The Committee on Culture and Spirituality recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopts as a Basis and in its Entirety the Resolution Draft on the Recommendation of the Parliamentary Hearings "National Identity of Ukraine under the Conditions of Global Challenges: Problems and their Solutions"

The Draft Resolution (Reg. No. 6064) recommends that the Cabinet of Ministers drafts and brings forward a number of Bills on the following issues: development of humanitarian field; relations between the State and confessions; regional policy; State ethnonational policy in Ukraine. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism is recommended to draft and bring forward the State programs on protection and preservation of non-material cultural heritage till the year 2015, and on material and technical support of cultural establishments in the rural area.  

 

According to the recommendations of the parliamentary hearings held on 9 December 2009, Ukrainian State and people shall focus their efforts on the formation of single cultural dimension; re-organization of the cultural field; formation of the system of distribution and promotion of scientific historical knowledge as the basis of revival and preservation of historical memory.
