In the course of the sitting it was declared that the Bill Reg. No 5526 envisages the cessation fo the Treaty between Ukraine and European Co-partnership on readmission of the persons signed on 18 June 2007 and ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 15 January 2008 "till the period of formation of the necessary international-legal base and finance-economic facilities for the temporary residence in Ukraine of the citizens of the third countries and persons without citizenship that stay illegally in the European Union countries and reached it through the territory of Ukraine."

According to Borys Tarasiuk, cessation of the treaty on readmission would lead to the curtailing of the negotiations concerning the visa free regime for Ukraine on the part of EU.

The Committee also recognized as such that contradicts the European legislation the Bill "On Amendments to the law of Ukraine "On Legal Status of the Foreigners and Persons without Citizenship" (regarding the Equal Conditions of Mutual Trips for the Citizens of Ukraine and other States) (Reg. No6012). The Bill envisages that the foreigners and persons without citizenship are obliged to compulsory entrance visa regime.

B. Tarasiuk emphasized that "renewing of the visa regime would be scrutinized by EU as revision step of Ukraine in the sphere of European integration and arouse doubts concerning its reliability and predictability."

In the result of the scrutiny, the Bills were recognized as such that do not harmonize with the European Integration Course of Ukraine.
