Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, visited Khmelnytsky region to attend the grand opening of the secondary school of І-ІІ grades in the village of Volytsia of Teofipol district.
During the grand opening, Mykola Tomenko appraised active participation of Ivan Hladuniak, Head of Khmelnytsky Regional Council, and Vasyl Kravchuk, People´s Deputy-member of the BYuT Deputy Faction, in the reconstruction of the school and development of the regional social infrastructure. "The deeds of the deputies and local authorities of Khmelnytsky region exemplify a proper approach, as the public, local and business funds are accumulated to restore and improve social infrastructure", - he stated.
M.Tomenko also stated that the Government would implement the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of 5 October 2009 concerning establishment of a 20-per-cent increment to the teachers since 1 January 2010 despite the attempts of the President´s Secretariat to prevent realization of the Resolution and different pretexts of the local authorities for its non-fulfillment.
Meeting the directors of the regional secondary schools, M.Tomenko presented the educational projects of "Spravedlyva Kraina" Fund. Thus, the CD "An Audio Book for Ukrainian Children" will be forwarded to every pre-school education establishment of Khmelnytsky region.
