Mykola Tomenko: The Situation concerning Possible Liquidation of Sports Facilities at "Olimpiysky" National Sports Complex shall become the Object of Scrutiny at The Verkhovna Rada

Mykola Tomenko, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that the Parliament is supposed to scrutinize the issue on so-called the biggest VIP zone that is planned to be built near NSC "Olimpiysky" at the expense of the budget funds. "Due to the facts that have been discussed during several months regarding the liquidation of the sport facilities and building of the hotel after EURO completion we are supposed to dot the i's and cross the t's."

 

 

M. Tomenko directed the appeal to the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism in which he point out the attention on the fact that according to the schedule of the Committees sittings, the Committee was supposed to scrutinize on 22 December the issue "On The Following by the Ministry on Family Matters, Youth Policy and Sports of the legislative requirements in the course of the NSC "Olimpiysky" reconstruction."

 

M. Tomenko addresses the Chairman of the Committee with the request to facilitate the immediate scrutiny of the issue "On the Following by the Ministry on Family Matters, Youth Policy and Sports of the legislative requirements in the course of the NSC "Olimpiysky." M. Tomenko also emphasized that in case the issue scrutiny is postponed, he would appeal to the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the Law Abidance during the Reconstruction of the "Olimpiysky" Sport Complex with the proposition to organize the scrutiny of the mentioned above issue.
