The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a Basis the Bill "On Amendments to the Items 14 and 15 of Chapter X "Transitional Provisions" of the Land Code of Ukraine" (re the Term on the Land Areas Sale)

The Bill (Reg.№3425) envisages implementation of the norm that provides prohibition till 1 January 2012 on:

 

buying and selling of the land areas of agricultural purpose and state municipal ownership;

 

buying and selling land alienation  and change of the purpose assignation of land areas.

 

Treaties concluded during the moratorium efficiency period are invalid since the moments of their conclusion.
