The Bill (Reg. No. 4628) harmonizes the provisions of the Law "On Hunting Sector and Hunting" with the requirements of the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats of 1979. The provisions of the Law set the limits for using game animals and terms of hunting, regulate shooting and entrapment of game animals for scientific purposes and their re-settlement.
The Bill introduces scientifically grounded limits for using and shooting game animals. It includes the wolf into the list of game animals, the terms of hunting being fixed. The magpie, the rook and the jay are excluded from the list of destructive birds.
