Mykola Tomenko, the Voce-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the course of the briefing in the Parliament on Tuesday has commented upon the latest events in the session hall. "We appeared today in the interesting situation: a lot of politicians and political parties have already determined for the selves how the election campaign is going to conclude. In such a case there is no need in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as an instrument to commence and complete the election campaign", - he proclaimed.
M. Tomenko reminded that today without the resolution draft, without the Committee´s scrutiny and a discussion appeared unexpected initiative to adjourn the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine activity until the presidential campaign finishing. "It is not an occasional initiative as it is obvious that for the present day the election campaigns strategies of certain candidates completely coincide and the leading powers that voted for the parliament adjourning probably are aware that their candidates have certain agreements regarding this fact", - M. Tomenko declared.
M. Tomenko also is convinced that today it is obvious that "Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovych teams have defined for themselves how they would act after the second round of elections." "Hence it is easy to understand why one must everyday hear hours of hatred of Viktor Yushchenko to Yulia Tymoshenko and her Government", - he emphasized.
The vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine made an assumption that between the first and the second rounds of elections there would appear new coalition that would work at the preserving of such agreements.
He also deems it inadmissible that Viktor Yushchenko, the President as a candidate for the future presidential office is using the state television channel in order to criticize the government. "The candidate for the Chair of the President of Ukraine is not supposed to express his hatred regarding Yulia Tymoshenko and her Government during two hours everyday at the expense of the state funds", - he declared.
