In the course of the sitting it was declared that the Bill (Reg.№1280) is aimed at the broadening of the authorities and functions of the students self-government bodies, specification of the issue on the formation and functioning of the students self-government bodies, forms and directions of its activity etc.
According to the Bill, students self-government bodies receives 10%quote in the academic boards of the university.
The members of the Committee emphasized the importance of the suggested Bill as it defines the basic principles of the state protection of the students rights to participant in the self-government.
