Ukraine deepens cooperation with Switzerland on economic recovery: the Law has been adopted

On 12 March, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law of Ukraine “On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Federal Council of Switzerland on Cooperation in the Process of Ukraine’s Reconstruction” (registration No. 0348).

The purpose of the Law is to complete the domestic procedures required for the entry into force of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Federal Council of Switzerland on cooperation in Ukraine’s reconstruction, concluded in Rome on 10 July 2025.

The provisions of the Agreement provide for Switzerland to grant non-repayable financial and technical assistance for the procurement of goods and services from Swiss companies for reconstruction projects in Ukraine.

The scope of the Agreement covers key sectors such as energy, transport, mechanical engineering, construction, water management, and civil protection.
