Europe must be a full-fledged party to the peace process, because the war is continuing on our continent. This was emphasized by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, during a meeting with a delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which arrived in Kyiv on a date symbolic for Ukraine. He thanked his partners for their support and for standing by Ukraine at this time.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed his colleagues about the results of his visit to Vienna and his meeting with PACE President Petra Bayr, as well as about the current security situation.

Ruslan Stefanchuk separately emphasized the need to strengthen sanctions pressure without loopholes for circumvention, to create a Special Tribunal, and to ensure the inevitability of russia's responsibility for the crimes committed.

He stressed that such meetings are important for coordinating positions on key decisions — from achieving peace to rebuilding Ukraine.
