Ukraine and Poland strengthen international dialogue amid russian aggression

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, held his first telephone conversation with the Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, against the backdrop of another massive russian attack on Ukraine.

During the conversation, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reported on russian strikes on civilian and energy infrastructure. In such circumstances, solidarity and continuous contact between the parliaments of the two countries, which remains active and effective, are of particular importance.

The interlocutors discussed further deepening interparliamentary cooperation at all levels, as well as the issue of Ukraine's recovery and the role of parliaments in supporting this process.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada expressed his gratitude to the Polish people for their unwavering support and solidarity with Ukraine. The parties agreed to continue to work closely together to protect freedom, security and a common European future.
