"I accepted the tragic news concerning premature death of your dearest person, daughter and mother, Evhenia Borysivna Paton, with deep sorrow.
A talented scientist, whose life devotion was whole-hearted and self-giving service to the science, fellow citizens and country passed away. Her researches made great contribution to the development of molecular biology.
Premature death took the life of an excellent person; it dropped her inspired scientific selfless devotion.
On behalf of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and on my own behalf, convey sincere condolences and words of support to the bereaved relatives.
May she rest in peace!", - reads the telegram.
